BRASS “Y” PATTERN STRAINER FOR LIQUIDS

Rastelli’s “Y” pattern strainers are used in sanitary water, water raising, heating systems, thermal power plants, and heating generators, industrial and agricultural systems. Install the filter in the direction indicated by the arrow and with the cap facing downwards. Before installing the “Y” strainer, it is advisable to check if there is enough room to remove the cartridge. After cleaning, carefully check the sealing gasket of the cap and if in doubt, do not hesitate to replace it. New plant: after few working hours, it is advisable to open all installed strainers to clean out the typical residues of new pipes.
