As part of an outgoing mission of Italian agricultural machinery companies to Tanzania and Uganda, organized by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, ICE Agency and FederUnacoma, the 46th EIMA was presented to journalists and local economic operators.

The first meeting was held on 18 March in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, and was attended by the ICE Director responsible for Ethiopia, Tanzania and Uganda, Riccardo Zucconi, the Italian Ambassador to the country Marco Lombardi and the Deputy Director General Fabio Ricci. The second was held on 21 March in Kampala, Uganda, and was attended by Riccardo Zucconi and Fabio Ricci, as well as the Italian ambassador to the country, Mauro Massoni.
