ECU - CAN I/O Expander Modules

The ALMEC ECU range comprises four electronic control units based on the ARM Cortex-M7 CPU, designed for control and I/O expansion applications in CANbus and RS232 networks. ALMEXT manages up to 9 digital inputs and 8 digital outputs, with an internal watchdog certified to EN13849 up to PLd and hardware protection against short circuits and overvoltage on all channels. ALM-IO extends capacity to up to 18 inputs and 4 outputs, adding reverse polarity protection. Both support Master/Slave topologies. SPN5M-ST offers up to 16 inputs and 16 outputs, is freely programmable via the ALMEClab platform and, in the pre-configured version, supports the ISOBUS protocol. SPN3 manages up to 8 inputs and 8 outputs with separately arranged resources, simplifying wiring and system integration. All units are housed in polyurethane resin casings or waterproof enclosures, suitable for the harshest operating environments.
