🇮🇹 Il 9 aprile 2026 presso Palazzo Mezzanotte, sede della Borsa Italiana a Milano, si è svolto l’evento Top 50 - Eccellenze Italiane dell’Automotive. L’iniziativa è stata promossa dalla Gazzetta dello Sport con l’obiettivo di celebrare e premiare le migliori 50 aziende italiane del settore automotive a capitale italiano, che rappresentano l’eccellenza per innovazione, crescita e solidità. Un’occasione di riconoscimento del lavoro delle imprese e delle persone che insieme contribuiscono allo sviluppo e alla competitività del settore italiano. Il titolare della Olimac Lorenzo Carboni ha ritirato il premio. Un riconoscimento prestigioso per l’azienda di Margarita (CN) leader nella progettazione e costruzione di macchine per la raccolta del mais e del girasole. Tra le aziende premiate anche Ferrari, Pirelli e Lamborghini.

🇬🇧 On April 9, 2026, at Palazzo Mezzanotte, headquarters of the Italian Stock Exchange in Milan, the 'Top 50 – Italian Automotive Excellence' event took place. The initiative was promoted by Gazzetta dello Sport with the aim of celebrating and awarding the best 50 Italian companies in the automotive sector with Italian capital, which represent excellence in innovation, growth, and stability. It was an occasion to recognize the work of companies and individuals who together contribute to the development and competitiveness of the Italian industry. Olimac owner Lorenzo Carboni collected the award. A prestigious recognition for the Margarita-based (CN) company, a leader in the design and construction of corn and sunflower harvesting machines. Among the other awarded companies were Ferrari, Pirelli, and Lamborghini.

Olimac DragoGT is the unique corn head in the world equipped with a Double Stalk Chopper Scissor Effect (Olimac patent). On each row there are four blades working. Two of them work on one side, the other on the opposite side, but with inverted rotation, like a scissor. Chopping operations finer and increasing its decomposition on soil.

The Olimac plant in Margarita (Cuneo) is a fully robotised industrial and technological complex, unique in the global industry. The production area, which has recently doubled in size, covers 50,000 square meters on a site measuring over 90,000 square metres. The continuous evolution of the plant with the introduction of new technologies is in line with the company motto: 'Innovate to Grow'. This is where the famous DragoGT corn header is made, the only one in the world with automatic self-adjusting suspension deck plates for a total harvest without losses and faster working speeds.

Olimac Drago Gold is the only sunflower header equipped with a hydraulic stalk chopper that allows to cut the stalk at ground level and harvest sunflowers up to 1.5 m in height. This means that only the sunflower head is harvested without the stalk, allowing the combine harvester to work more easily. Work is faster, there is no loss of crop and shredding is optimal. 🌻🚜
