Seed Treater PKS-20-01 PB

The PKS-20-01 PB seed treater model is designed for treating seeds of cereals, legumes, and oilseeds with aqueous solutions or fungicide suspensions. The machine is intended for installation in facilities without stationary accumulating hoppers.

The treater is equipped with load cells (tensometric sensors) for weighing and determining the actual consumption of the seed material. Seed is fed into the treater from a hopper installed above the machine.

The main working components of the treater that come into contact with the prepared solution are

made of stainless steel, ensuring the machine’s long-lasting operation without the need for

replacement.

The built-in proprietary software of the treater reads, consolidates, and processes information

regarding the amount of seed and working solutions required for the treatment process. The working

solution is prepared by a separate delivery system through additional peristaltic dosing pumps.

The advantage of the separate delivery system is that the solution is prepared not in the treaters main

tank but in the hydraulic line directly before delivering the working solution into the treatment

chamber. The main tank of the machine contains only clean water, while fungicides are stored in

separate containers (the operation of the separate delivery system is described in detail on the

Manufacturer’s official website).

The treater’s design includes a metal structure with a service platform for maintenance and installation of the main elements, including additional options such as an aspiration system and a device for dosing a talc-graphite mixture.

Seed feeding into the hopper can be done from big bags containing untreated seeds or via a bucket

elevator or other convenient methods acceptable to the treater’s owner.

The discharge of treated seed is designed for two big bags up to one ton each or other containers

acceptable to the treater’s owner.
