Mechanical load sensing relay emergency valve

A mechanical load sensing valve modulates the pressure in the brake actuators according to the load of the vehicle. This model is fitted with relay emergency function.

NOTE

In order to work properly, a mechanical load sensing valve must be set, i.e. the lever length has to be regulated to have a perfect correspondence between the output pressures you get from the valve in the empty and full laden conditions, and the design pressure (brake calculation results) for the same load conditions.

Once the two extremities of the value range have been set (full laden and empty), the load sensing valve will work with linear proportionality within this range, providing a modulated braking pressure according to the vehicle load.
