USS ultrasonic sensor system

The Bosch Rexroth USS system brings automotive ultrasonic sensing to mobile machinery: rugged IP6K9K sensors that reliably detect people and obstacles in blind spots, even in dust, rain and poor visibility. Connected via CAN to an RC40 controller, the sensors enable assistance and safety functions: acoustic/visual warning in the cab, automatic slow-down and stop, up to the complete BODAS CAS (Collision Avoidance System) solution that reduces collision risk when reversing and manoeuvring. TRITECNICA supports OEMs in defining the number and position of the sensors, in software integration and in field validation.
