HYDRAULIC PROPORTIONAL CYLINDER

This cylinder converts a pressure value into a linear movement of its push rod, with a displacement that is directly proportional to the hydraulic input pressure.

The hydraulic proportional cylinder allows the use of a common automatic load sensing valve with mechanical lever movement on a vehicle with hydraulic suspensions.

This cylinder can be used in combination with mechanical automatic load sensing valves both on hydraulic or pneumatic brake systems, resulting a very flexible device to transform a common brake system for mechanical suspension vehicles into a brake system for hydraulic suspension vehicles. In case of failure in the suspension hydraulic line, the cylinder incorporates a safety function

which forces the cylinder push rod in the full extended position.
