Safety devices

In the agricultural sector, it is difficult to predict the limit conditions for power transmission systems. To protect the driveshaft and machinery from unexpected stresses, safety devices are used to reduce immobilization and repair costs. Eurocardan produces various protection systems: torque nullifying devices (they open and cancel the torque until reset or the obstacle is removed), torque limiters (limit torque to a preset value), shock absorbers (rubber discs that dampen torque peaks), and freewheels (transmit power in one direction, used in high-speed machines to manage inertia and protect gears).
