PRESENTATION
The EIMA International preliminary catalogue has been con-
firmed over the years as a precious instrument made availa-
ble to visitors and business people ahead of time to learn
about the leading players at the great Bologna exposition and
gather information for perfectly organizing their attendance
at one of the world’s most important appointment for agri-
cultural and gardening mechanization.

Fair Center, has become increasing international over its 42
editions and is now prepared to host some 600 companies
from abroad among the 1,900 exhibitors registered. Overall,
the exposition is divided into 14 merchandise sectors bringing
together more than 50,000 models of machinery and equip-
ment for agricultural and grounds keeping operation on view
for about 40,000 business people arriving frommore than 120
countries among a number of visitors expected to surpass
the total of 236,000 registered for the 2014 edition. The inter-
national and commercial features will also be strengthened
by the large number of delegations arriving to the event from
abroad and hundreds of B2B meetings organized for more
than 60 official foreign delegations already committed.
The merchandise showcased by EIMA International is also di-
vided according to four specialized salons, EIMA Green dedi-
cated to technologies for the maintenance of greenery, EIMA
Components focused on the ranges of components, spare
parts and accessories for farm and gardening machinery and
equipment, EIMA Energy on ways and means in the field of
renewable energy resources of agricultural origin, and EIMA
M.i.A. for the issues of technologies, services and projects in
multifunctional agriculture which, this year will be hosted for
the first time in the Trade Fair Palazzo dei Congressi.
A heavy schedule of conferences, seminars and other events
will round out the panorama of sectors featured by the review
with meetings on a large number of issues, including the po-
litical agenda on agricultural mechanization in the years to
come, new markets, the new professions linked to agricultu-
ral mechanics, safety regulations, combating counterfeiting
and other initiatives plus a number of press conferences for
the presentation of new products and the future activities of
exhibiting companies.
