SICURA, the Italian solution for no-till soil.

Direct seeding on no-till soil is a conservative agriculture’s technique based on the absence of any kind of mechanic working of the soil. Compared to more “traditional” seeding methods, it causes less disturb to the soil, fostering its natural structuration, while lowering costs and ensuring comparable results.  

The SICURA seed drill for direct seeding is available in the mechanic and pneumatic version, with fixed or hydraulically foldable frame (from 3,00 to 6,00 m working width). 

SICURA’s most innovative feature is represented by the parallelogram element, damped and adjustable, with double discs to favor the opening of the soil, the creation of the seed’s housing. The double discs also perform a closing and covering function. They are mounted on supports with balancer, adjustable. If necessary, and in case you are working on different kinds of soil, the load of the element can be increased using the traction springs.
