Non-return valves are one-way valves: they allow the flow of the fluid in only one direction, they must therefore be mounted so that the arrow on the body is in the same direction as the fluid.

Check the valve periodically, according to use and working conditions, to make sure it works properly. The leaks at the seal can be caused by the deposit of some foreign body (dirt, limestone) on the rubber seal.

To fix this problem, disassemble the valve and remove the foreign body using compressed air or tools.
