Eima International 2010 awards technological innovation

Agriculture is constantly aimed at progress. For this reason, Eima International has always has been careful to enhance the value of the finest energies in agriculture and is again this year staging the Great Eima New Technologies Competition. The competition is open to all companies which have built innovative machinery, accessories or components capable of improving the jobs of workers in agriculture.

To take part

All companies which have designed and built an innovative device are requested to participate in the Great Eima New Technologies Competition by carefully completing form 13 and the Information sheet below and send all the documents requested, in an electronic format only, to the committee secretary no later than July 16, 2010, at the email address:

Applications arriving after this date and applications accompanied by insufficient documentation will not be given consideration by the committee (see articles 4 and 6 of the Competition Regulations).

Form 13 must be printed, completed, stamped and signed and subsequently scanned so that the form can be sent in the electronic format.

Ambitions for participation

The leading characteristic of the Great Eima New Technologies Competition is excellence. For this reason, all proposals presented will be examined by a highly qualified technical commission which will evaluate the validity of the requests and identify the devices, according to innovation content, which will be entered in the competition. In the second phase, the commission will evaluate the projects selected earlier to determine the winners. The prestige of this recognition is heightened even further in consideration of the fact that the evaluation process, linked to the high quality standard reached over the thirty years of the competition, is extremely rigorous.

A showcase within the showcase

Winners of the Great Eima New Technologies Competition attract the attention of the entire world of agriculture! The achievements cited for recognition as New Technologies will be given exalted status. They will, in fact, be put on display in an area which can be immediately identified in the spacious Four-Sided Arch at the entrance to the fair to draw the attention of the thousands of visitors arriving from around the world. An authentic showcase of excellence! Further specific steps include:

publication of a New Technologies brochure in two languages containing descriptions of all the winning products in the competition;
the New Technologies brochure will be delivered to all members of the media during the Eima International press conference, distributed to all the international delegations and made available to all visitors to the Four-Sides Arch area;
the list of winners and the features of their products will be published on the Eima International website, by MondoMacchina/MachineryWorld and the most important specialized publications.

Furthermore, the official New Technologies award ceremony, a time for a great display of pride by the companies named as winners, will be held during the gala dinner honoring the Eima International participants.
